Indications/Uses
Symptomatic treatment of acid regurgitation, heartburn & indigestion, eg, following meals or during pregnancy, & hyperacidity; GERD during concomitant treatment w/ or following w/drawal of acid suppressing therapy.
May cause delayed allergic reactions; mask symptoms of other more serious, underlying medical conditions. CHF. Patients w/ hypercalcemia, nephrocalcinosis & recurrent Ca containing renal calculi. Consider to seek medical advice if symptoms persist, or treatment is required for >7 days continuously. Renal impairment. Not recommended in childn <12 yr.
